Dreamland, Margate sold
Thanet District Council has received approval from the communities and local government secretary for the compulsory purchase of the Dreamland site in Margate, Kent which contains the UK's oldest rollercoaster which is listed grade II.
The council intends to invest more than £10 million turning the park into the world's first heritage amusement park.
