The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions

Government Legislation & Lobbying

BALPPA monitor all potential government legislation that will affect the leisure parks, piers, zoos, theme park, FEC or visitor attraction sector.

As an Association, we are heavily involved in lobbying on behalf of our Members and we currently have the proposed amendment to school holidays, the triennial review of Machine Gaming Duty and cutting tourism VAT firmly on our busy political agenda.

Member can log in and view the latest lobbying update from BALPPA, however, as is the norm in the lobbying arena, situations shift and change continuously and with the recent changes to the cabinet, the tides have shifted yet again!

Please contact the BALPPA Secretariat should you wish to receive more of an update on our political activity.
