Whether you joined us last year or are attending for the first time, this year’s Crisis Management Day offers valuable insights and practical learning to take your crisis planning to the next level.
Following the success of last year’s event, we’re building on the experience with interactive desktop exercises and a range of realistic scenarios exploring strategic, operational and tactical responses to help you prepare for the unexpected.
The day will be led by Alan Baldwin, a former Chief Police Officer specialising in strategic planning and operational execution, alongside Michelle Nichols, a Crisis Communications expert with over 27 years’ experience in communications and PR across the public and private sectors.
We’ll also hear from Paul Spicer of Merlin Entertainments, who will share insights into crisis preparedness, incident management and response.
You’ll also hear a case study of a real-life, multi-agency terrorist exercise conducted at one of our Members’ attractions, supported by video footage from the exercise. The session will explore how the scenario unfolded, the roles and responsibilities of the agencies involved, and the strategic and operational decisions made throughout.
