A weekend prior to the Expo, IAAPA Institute for Attractions Professionals (IAP) will take place at the Chessington World of Adventures Resort*. It’s designed for motivated industry professionals with an interest in cross-departmental industry functions. They will return inspired, with a better understanding of the attractions industry and practical learnings to help grow business.

Institute for Attractions Professionals (IAP)
The IAAPA Institute for Attractions Professionals is a two day in-person professional training education programme for individuals with five or fewer years’ working within attractions.
Learning areas
Across two days of in-person training, attendees learn about principles of operations, finance, marketing, F&B, and leadership. Learning is delivered as interactive projects and group work and led by industry experts and subject-matter specialists.
Certification and materials
Attendees receive a Certificate of Completion and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) towards IAAPA certification renewal. They also leave the room with a Participant Guide to support learning activities, and supplemental online resources for deeper learning after the event.
International Cross-Industry Network
Participants come from across the world. They work at parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, and other leisure facilities.
